BOGOF

I'm a big fan of the DVLA-buy-your-car-tax-disc-online site which is infinitely better than having to queue for 45 minutes in the local post office during your lunch break only to be told that "this is a minor post office and we don't actually do tax discs" by the grumpy cashier when you finally reach the front of the queue. 

My online-purchased disc turned up safe and sound a couple of weeks ago and then, weirdly, it did the same again today.  So I've now got two tax discs for the same car, both expiring on 30/4/10.  Although its nice to have a spare in case the original blows away during the warm summer of top-free driving I think I might try and recuperate some of the significant £170 pounds the small purple circle cost me.  

So, does anyone else out there own a Toyota MR2, registration **** *** and want to buy a cheap tax disc?  Say £169? Email me if so.

[Note to lawyers - I'm not really selling this and have already contacted the DVLA about their administrative error.  Please don't throw me in jail]

You don't have to queue where that great big notice says: "We don't do tax discs." :p

Don't do what I did in 2007 which was put the new tax disc on the side when it came through the post and then forget to put it on the car and only realise the next year when the next tax disc arrives.

I have an idea! We should buy another MR2 (for me) and stick it in that one and then we won't have wasted any munny. :-)

We went to buy our tax disc the other day and then realised our MOT was a little bit out of date. Oopsie.
