Wirelessness


Q: What do the following have in common?

  • Linksys123
  • Linksys
  • Belkin54g
  • 78 Angelica
  • MACCA_ADSL
  • snt12

A: They are the six wireless access points I am in range of whilst sat at the table in our living room. Only one of them belongs to us, and unfortunately (for the nosey part in me) only one of the others that doesn't belong to us is unsecured. I am therefore only able to snoop around one of our neighbours' files.

It's pretty much the same round here. Good job Adam & I are honest people and don't go snooping. Why are people so ignorant about security?
