Claire was given a quiz to do today - one of those "7 D in a W" things. She managed to get all of the answers except for one:
11 B on a S C
Well, we've both thought long and hard about it and cannot get the answer so I cunningly resorted to Googling for it. Googling came up with nothing suitable - the closest options were "11 Players on a Football Team" and "11 Players on a Hockey Team", neither of which answers the question.
After asking some of the biggest brains in the country (our friends) what the answer was we still didn't know, so I thought I'd try something different, and texted the question to Any Question Answered (AQA). This is a premium rate texting service (£1 per question) so it was bound to come up trumps.
Eventually I got the answer back from them and it said:
AQA was unable to w**k out '11 B on a SC'. However it came across '11
Players in a Hockey Team' and '11 Players on a Football Team'
So that was a) rubbish and b) they lied about "Any Question Answered" and c) they charged me £1 for something I already knew.
ANyone out there know the correct answer? I'll pay £1 for it.
